Moral Vacuum

September 29th, 2007

Police Officer Opens Door With Councilman's Head
Uploaded by BadCase

Watch the full WNDU video

Some allege a cover-up by WNDU because as soon as the video is posted on YouTube it is automatically removed with the message:

”This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by WNDU-TV.”

Although it is clear on the tape through the reflection in the window that Officer Tillman attacked Councilman Snyder, WNDU has downplayed the incident referring to the police brutality as a “physical incident”.

Columbia City Paper has proceeded with records requests for a police report of the incident as well as Officer Tillman’s personnel record.

Video posted here is owned by WNDU and versions can be seen at http://www.wndu.com

Police officer Jim Travis was arrested in Aiken for telling a 17-year-old to throw eggs at a protester on Highway 19. The officer shelled out the money to buy the eggs according to the arrest warrant. Details were scrambled at press time but Officer Evans allegedly turned himself in over easy, without trying to butter up the arresting officers. It is unclear what eggsactly the victim was protesting, but some think the officer’s career is toast and don’t believe he will be able to get out of this jam.
