Peace and blessings to all of you out there reading this. Thanks for all the support. Winter is definitely upon us, it’s time to put up those plaid shorts & sandals, and pull out the Timbs and Hoodies. Hope life’s been treating y’all well. Hip Hop and the entire music community stood in awe as Jay-Z racked up another #1 Album (selling over 700,000 copies in its first week). Tying Elvis with 10 #1’s, only the Beatles have more #1’s (19 to be exact). Great to see fans hitting the music stores to support Hip Hop. December, Kwanzaa, and Xmas are right around the corner; be sure to start shopping early. Let’s get to it.

REVIEW

Clocking in at 14 tracks deep, I must say the Alicia Keys was well worth the wait. From Superwoman to Teenage Love Affair, she’s got some style. Undergoing a vocal overhaul for the better is something most artists strive for throughout their careers, Alicia has accomplished this. Without sounding overbearing or limited, as with earlier works (think Fallen), Alicia has come full circle. She sounds confident, mature, solid, and in love. Great soul music to keep you warm for these brisk winter nights.
G-Unit (Young Buck, Lloyd Bank$, Tony Yayo, and 50) are gearing up for another smash this winter. From the one on one’s with AllHipHop.com, to Whoo Kid’s latest installment of the G-Unit Radio Mixtapes, these fellas are laying the groundwork for some dope music. Be sure to check the joint ‘Feel Good’ and anything else you can find, this record is going to be crazy.
